ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF BROADWAY TO ERIE’S WARNER THEATRE
COMING IN FEBRUARY 2022

Erie, PA, November 30, 2021 – Excitement abounds with the return of the Warner Theatre and Broadway. Intermission is over and Broadway in Erie is back with an all-new season!

NAC Entertainment President and Broadway Producer Albert Nocciolino along with Erie Events Executive Director John “Casey” Wells today announced the return of national touring Broadway to Erie’s Warner Theatre.

February 14, 2022, almost two years to the day since the last Broadway show performed at the Warner, Live theatre returns with the new Broadway musical, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN performing for two nights, February 14 and 15.

“We look forward to raising the curtain again with the return of Broadway and seeing our city bustling again with all of the events at the Warner,” said Casey Wells. “The Theatre renovation and expansion will expand our programming opportunities and related economic impact in our community.”

In announcing the new season, Mr. Nocciolino commented, “Having just toured the theatre and seeing firsthand the scope of this project I am beyond excited and ready for the return of Broadway to this magnificent theatre. This project is fabulous, and the Warner Theatre is a real treasure for Erie and the surrounding region. Congratulations to Casey, the entire staff of Erie Events as well as the board of directors.”

Nocciolino went on to thank all of the patrons of Broadway In Erie for their support over the years. “Since January of 1981 when my very first show (A CHORUS LINE) sold out in a matter of days, the Erie community has supported Broadway and the Warner. Thank you to our loyal
season subscribers and patrons for your patience, commitment, and support during this time. We would not be where we are today without all of you,” added Nocciolino.

Beginning with this new season, NAC Entertainment announced that they will be increasing the number of shows and performances being presented at the Warner Theatre. All of the shows that are on the Broadway season package will now be a minimum of two performances.
