The “Friends of the Forum Theatre” was formed in 2009 under the guidance of, then County Executive, Barbara Fiala. From inception, the organization’s mission has been to raise funds for renovations and upgrade to our beloved historic theatre in downtown Binghamton. Over the last 10 years, we have hosted fund raising events in conjunction with performances brought to our community by Broadway in Binghamton and the Tri-Cities Opera.

Our past events were presented in conjunction with “Mamma Mia”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “An Evening of La Traviata”, “South Pacific”, “West Side Story”, and “Jersey Boys”. Our premiere event, “Evening with the Stars”, celebrated those who have received Stars on the “Walk of Stars” and proudly presented their Stars’ new home at the Forum Theatre on the “Wall of Stars”.

Current board members of the Friends of the Forum include Ron Akel, Sylvia Kerber, Gail Domin, Justine Dadamio, Tina Niles, Robin Alpaugh, Bob and Stephanie Krummenacker, and Ron Sall.

Thanks to the generous support of sponsors and attendees, we have been able to help renovate and restore the Forum Theatre with such projects as new seating, painting and repairs, carpeting, new bathrooms for our guests, renovated dressing rooms and staging areas, new video boards, and energy efficient LED lighting.

Proceeds from the 100th Anniversary Beautiful Evening will go to future upgrades. We look forward to another 100 years of performances and hope that you join us in ensuring a Beautiful future for our historic Forum Theatre with your patronage of the evening.
